CBT TRAINING PROGRAMMES FOR 2012 Each year the Centre for Cognitive Behaviour Therapy presents training programmes in different centres around New Zealand. Each series involves a mix of standalone workshops on varying topics and practicum for any certificated programmes we are presenting that year (including the Primary Certificate in REBT). Next year we plan (tentatively) to run two series, one in the North island and one in the South. Dates and places are not yet finalised but we hope that the South Island program will occur in Christchurch, depending on the availability of a suitable venue. The Centre is able to present special training programmes on a variety of topics in any part of the country on request. If your organisation might be interested in contracting with us for such a programme, let us know your requirements and we will send a proposal for your consideration. POSTGRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN COGNITIVE BEHAVIOUR THERAPY A more extended training experience that might be of interest is the Postgraduate Certificate in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy at the Eastern Institute of Technology in Hawkes Bay. The Certificate is a blended online course designed so that helping professionals from any part of New Zealand can enrol and complete the requirements, which involve two 3-day blocks at the EIT campus with the remainder of the course work carried out at home and your own workplace.
